CHAPTER THIRTEEN

TILLY

Natasha, Sterling’s mother, watches me. It isn’t an assessing gaze as much as it is curious. The food is all laid out in the center of the large dining room table but we all just watch one another, everybody too afraid to reach for a dish, or speak.

Emmet, Sterling’s father, is the first to speak, breaking the silence. “So, what is it you’re doing now, Tilly? I haven’t seen your family at the club in years.”

Sterling’s hand wraps around my thigh and gives me a squeeze, while I am unable to hide a flinch. Emmet raises a brow at my reaction to his question. I let out a shaky breath before I speak, telling him as much of the truth as I can.

“I’m, I just finished high school not long ago, and I’m not sure where the future will lead.”

Emmet clears his throat. “Apparently, its leading you down the aisle?” he grunts.

“Father,” Sterling warns.

Emmet shakes his head. “I’m not implying anything. I’m merely asking Tilly a question.”

Sterling grunts, his hand slipping between my thighs. He keeps his fingers wrapped around my leg, but he’s just centimeters from my still aching and needy pussy. “Father, Tilly is young. There’s no need to put pressure on her future, quite yet,” he mentions.

Natasha reaches for a plate in the center of the table and asks who wants food. Emmet grunts, shifting his gaze over to her and for the next few, awkward moments, we dish out our food. Except Sterling doesn’t move his hand from my thigh so I actually put his meal on his plate for him.

“So, are your parents excited? Have you found a venue or a dress yet?” Natasha asks, moving her food around with her fork.

My brows knot together and I shake my head. “My parents and I are… estranged,” I attempt to explain.

Emmet’s eyes flick up to mine and I watch as his lips twitch. It seems like he knows something that I don’t, a secret maybe. I don’t get the chance to ask him because that’s when Sterling decides to move my panties to the side and slip two fingers inside of my center. “Do you have a dress? It’s only a few days away, you must,” Natasha rambles.

I shake my head, attempting to gather myself. “I don’t. I haven’t even looked yet,” I breathe.

Sterling chuckles, taking a bite of food, then speaks. “I haven’t given her a chance. I only told her about the wedding two days ago,” he shrugs.

“Son, why don’t you two wait? Have a proper engagement and a proper wedding,” Emmet urges.

Sterling shakes his head, his fingers curling inside of me. He does this all so slowly, so achingly slow that it takes everything I have not to allow my eyes to slide closed at the delicious feel of his fingers sliding in and out of my pussy.

Sterling grunts. “I don’t want to wait. I know what I want, and it’s Tilly to be mine,” he announces.
